Photographs are available in limited edition offerings
as matted exhibition prints ready for framing, or as JPEG files for use
as desktop backgrounds, startup screens etc. Prices vary, depending on the
edition size and number remaining in the edition. This information is displayed
under <Edition Info> in the large gallery image, or by clicking on
the large image. All forms of the images are copyrighted by Alan R. Krauss,
and are not for reproduction or commercial use unless specifically authorized
in writing by A. R. Krauss. Arrangements may be made for multiple or commercial
use of some images by e-mail.
Prints are specified according to the mat size. Print sizes vary somewhat
from image to image, but are roughly as follows:

files are distributed on floppy disks, five images per disk, and sold as
a set. We regret that we can not sell these images separately. However,
the sets are quite reasonably priced.
To place an order:
1. Browse the galleries and select the item(s) you wish to order.
2. Note the catalog number.
3. Get the price from the Price List.
4. You may then use your browser to fill out the Order
Form and submit it electronically
or:
you may use your browser to select and print the Order
Form. Then fill it out manually, using information from the Price
List.
- The completed form may then be faxed or mailed to Wind Ridge Studios.
You may use a credit card (MC, Visa or AmEx) or pay by check or money order
via mail.
- You may eMail the order information [WindRidg@aol.com],
making sure that you include all the information requested on the order
form. However, please note that the link is not encrypted, and Wind Ridge
Studios does not take responsibility for the security of credit card information
transferred by eMail.
- Orders will be accepted by telephone (630) 904-0240. If we are unable
to answer, please leave a telephone number and time at which you may best
be reached on the answering machine.
5. Normal delivery requires 3-5 weeks, depending on stock. You may inquire
about faster delivery or ascertain the status of your order via eMail or
telephone.
Technical Details:
These images are printed from 18-20 Mb files at 300 dpi using either
a Kodak dye sublimation printer (11" x 14") or a Canon printer
(16" x 20"). The clarity of prints produced by either of these
processes far exceeds that obtainable by conventional photographic means,
and are only hinted at by the screen images viewed on the Wind Ridge Web
Gallery. All prints are sold on a 30 day, satisfaction guaranteed, money
back basis. If you are not satisfied, you may return the undamaged print
within 30 days of purchase and obtain a full refund, less shipping and handling
costs.
The dye sublimation prints use the Kodak Xtra-Life process which guarantees
image stability for at least long as a conventional photographic prints,
and independent testing has demonstrated fade life to be up to double that
of a conventional C-41 print (up to 30 years as long as the print is not
displayed in direct sunlight).
