Technical Details:

The small color images (11x14) are printed from 18-20 Mb files at 300 dpi using a Kodak dye sublimation printer. The clarity of prints produced by this process is quite startling. The dye sublimation prints use the Kodak Xtra-Life process which guarantees image stability for at least long as a conventional photographic prints, and independent testing has demonstrated fade life to be up to double that of a conventional C-41 print (up to 30 years as long as the print is not displayed in direct sunlight). The larger color images may be printed on conventional photographic paper from color negatives scanned directly from the file, printed on Ilfochrome paper from a slide generated from the image file, or printed on an Iris ink jet printer, depending which method produces the most efective output for a given image. Both the Ilfochrome and Iris prints are archival media, meeting museum criteria for permanence.

Black and white images are either dye sublimation prints for maximum sharpness, or are custom printed on Ilford paper from a 4"x5" negative produced directly from the digital files, which may be up to 40 Mb in size.

All prints are sold on a 30 day, satisfaction guaranteed, money back basis. If you are not satisfied, you may return the undamaged print within 30 days of purchase and obtain a full refund, less shipping and handling costs. The prints also carry a lifetime guarantee against fading provided they are kept out of direct sunlight and displayed according to specified conditions.
